Anger is one of the main concerns of service members returning from deployment. Problems can range from irritability to rage. Most of the time things calm down by themselves, but if you are finding that some level of anger is interfering with your successful adjustment to work or with your relationships, then it is something you should pay attention to. Feelings of anger can range from minor irritation to intense rage. You may become angry when you're feeling threatened or when someone does something that feels wrong or hurtful. If your anger is too intense or frequent, or if you express your anger aggressively, it can become a problem. Intense anger and aggression can hurt your relationships and your work. It can cause others to retaliate, and it may also contribute to feelings of guilt, shame, and regret.
